No actually.Our Shellfish are grown in what's called a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS). This system uses clean filtered seawater enriched with homegrown high-quality algae which mimics what they would get in the ocean minus the pollution, disease, and heat effects that lead to unsanitary shellfish and mortality.

For now, oysters, hard-shelled clams, and mussels. We pamper them from egg to adulthood in a controlled healthy environment. We sell ocean farmers and produce some of our own for sale right here on the farm.

All our clams, mussels, and oyster are grown lovingly from birth to adulthood right here in our aquafarm. Because we use a recirculating system our shellfish are the safest, most sustainable anywhere in the USA or world for that matter! They grow healthy and happily with water from saltwater aquifers and are fed a nutritious diet of microalgae- their favorite!

Absolutely. No chemicals, no fertilizer, no antibiotics, no pollution, no microplastics, and the water we use is filtered and reused. It's about as organic as you could get! You won't find a cleaner shellfish anywhere!
